BEACH AT PANTAI BATU HITAM. With only 5 minuted drive from FnK, you can easily reach the nice beach in Balok.
The new Shopping center EAST COAST MALL – East Coast Mall is the biggest and exclusive shopping mall in Kuantan. It just started to operate since 2010 and it is a retreat for the locals on the weekends. The mall has got brands that could not be found at other shopping malls here like Big Apple and Donuts and Starbucks. A list of restaurant also can be find here at east cost mall

Just nearby to ECM, you will find malay town shop lot and located there Zul Restoran – Zul serves the best satay in town and tasty like eating satay kajang. If you want to give it a try, make sure you are there early as it is always full house. The specialty of this restaurant is the “kuah” or also called the satay sauce.
Dine at Restoran Sara Thai along the street allocated just near to Grand continental. According to the locals, the Thai cuisine is genuine made from the best chef from siam.
There are two kemaman kopitiam and the newly open kopitiam just next to Citibank Office. Drink Coffee at Kemaman Kopitiam is one of the place where youngsters love to hang out. “Nasi Lemak” and “Kopi Ais” is a must to order upon visit.
River cruise along sungai kuantan – service is available at the Kuantan River. The sight-seeing journey takes about 2 hours and the passengers get a chance to visit the mangrove swamp. The cruise costs RM 10 for adult and RM 5 for the children below 12.
Sungai Lembing is known as mining place – Museum Sungai Lembing Museum is the place of remembering the glory day of Sungai Lembing as the richest town. But as time passed, the tins are being replaced with plastic, aluminium and others. You might also consider to have picnic at nice river sungai lembing.
Drop by Charah Cave – Charah Cave is a limestone cave which is well-known for its ‘Sleeping Buddha’, an impressive stone sculpture of the reclining Buddha. Nice view can be seen, when the sun shines in at 11 o’clock in the morning.
Visit State Mosque. State Mosque is located in the heart of city near to padang MPK. You can find a peaceful felling iktikaf in the mosque.
Balok Beach is a well known place for surfer - Wind Surf at Balok Beach Balok Beach, which is located only 5km to the FnK Guest House Kuantan, is a great place for wind surfing. If you are lucky enough, you could probably see turtles laying eggs between the month of May and September.
Visit Telok Chempedak – Telok Chempedak is one of the most popular beaches in Kuantan – without it, the trip is not complete! It is crowded especially during the night! A great place for family and friends to hang out and enjoy the sea breeze.
Bukit Gambang Resort City – the newly hot spot in Gambang, Pahang. Just 30-35 minutes drive from our homestay, this is the place that you won’t miss out during your holiday in Kuantan. Located at Bukit Gambang, its water park is the biggest attraction during school holiday.
Benteng, Kuantan – it is busiest day for hawkers on friday, saturday and sunday night. The uptown of Kuantan is start on 9 o’clock at night and finish at early morning. There are a lot of hawkers selling variety of food, clothes, fruits, shoes. More than 30 of hawkers are ready to welcome you at benteng sungai kuantan.
PASAR TANI MEGA – it is located just near to stadium Darul Makmur and Jalan Tun Ismail. The market was split into two, 1 is wet market and another one is hawkers selling clothes, shirt, shoes etc. Just cross the road, the wet market selling traditional food, river fish, vegetables, meat etc. Pasar tani mega is held on every Sunday and suitable to drop by before leaving Kuantan town.
